If you're planning to study in DIT, ITT or ITB, from January 2019 onwards, you can say you're a student of Technological University Dublin!
With the merge of three top institute of technologies, TU Dublin is now officially the only technological university in Ireland that provides courses from level 6 to 10, diplomas to PhD!
This news has come at such a great time where DIT celebrated its new €220 million Grangegorman campus recently.
Grangegorman campus is set to welcome 10,000 students by September 2020, with students from DIT campuses on Kevin Street, Rathmines and Cathal Brugha Street.
In a press statement, Prof Brian Norton, the President of DIT, said: “This is a milestone day that marks the beginning of a new type of Irish University that will revolutionise Higher Education in this country. TU Dublin will be positioned at the convergence of the arts, business, science and technology, and will strengthen the Greater Dublin Region and its [sic] prominence as a location that encourages and supports knowledge advancement, sustainable development and inclusive education.”
